PARCC Test Preparation
Since 2005, we have helped students of all ages improve their confidence and test scores on the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC)*. Our clients have even included other professionals in the field of education - teachers, Ivy League professors, and members of the Princeton University administration. Whether your child is struggling or simply looking for enrichment tutoring, our exceptional private tutors will create a customized approach tailored specifically for your needs. After each session, you'll receive a detailed progress report to track your child's improvement (view a real recap from one of our NJ ASK tutoring sessions).

What Parents Say about Our PARCC Test Prep Tutors
We were contacted by a parent to help improve her daughter’s NJ ASK scores, specifically with writing. We matched the student with Colette, an English major at Princeton University with previous middle and high school teaching experience in both classroom and private one-on-one settings:
“Colette, thank you for helping A with writing, I do see her improvement through your tutoring. She just finished her NJ ASK last week, and she thinks she did well…It’s been a good experience with Princeton Tutoring.”
Parent of 6th grader, Thomas Grover Middle School

What further differentiates us from the competition is our genuine desire to help your child succeed. Both Kevin and I started tutoring in high school and continued throughout our college years at Princeton and beyond. We chose to tutor because it was extremely rewarding and something we truly enjoyed.
Princeton Tutoring was born out of the early successes of our former clients and our desire to provide high-quality tutoring to other families. We understand better than most what parents are looking for, what children need, and which qualities make the best tutors.
Thank you for considering us. We look forward to speaking with you and working with your child to help fulfill his or her academic potential.
Standardized Test Prep Doesn’t Have to Be So Painful
The PARCC is a standardized test required of all third to eighth graders in New Jersey public schools. The state test is aligned with the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and is designed to measure student achievement in English language arts, mathematics, and science. In 2014-2015, the PARCC assessments replaced the existing statewide assessments, the NJASK in grades 3-8 and HSPA in high school.
The results of the PARCC give parents a good idea of their child's strengths and weaknesses in a particular area. We often work with students who are performing well academically, but who show disproportionately low scores on the PARCC.
Our tutors have helped students improve their NJ ASK and PARCC scores, which in turn help improve general standardized test-taking skills. Such skills will be helpful later on as students prepare for the SSAT, PSAT or SAT.
