I’ve loved working with kids ever since I was a kid, and I grew up babysitting & volunteering. I am a Broadway actress and a published author.
I love coaching kids, empowering them to succeed, and encouraging them to share their stories in a compelling way.
I took a gap year between high school and Barnard College, Columbia University in which I took a train trip cross-country, mastered the Spanish language at the prestigious Middlebury Summer Language Conference, and worked at a school for kids with learning disabilities. I’ve published a children’s book called Sniff, received a Ford Foundation Grant to write my first book Mighty Forces Are Gathering On Your Behalf, and I received a poetry award from Ireland’s Poet Laureate Seamus Heaney.
I specifically love tutoring/coaching students in essay writing for college, the Spanish language, ACT/SAT/SSAT and all writing/comprehension questions.
As I said, I love kids – and I have found that when you love working with kids, they tend to love working with you!
