AG

Hello! My name is AG McGee. I am a philosophy Ph.D. student, dividing my time between New Jersey (I graduated Princeton ’22) and Michigan (I’m doing my Ph.D. at the University of Michigan).

Education is my passion — that’s the whole reason I’m doing the Ph.D.! In addition to teaching in philosophy, I’ve tutored for standardized tests, AP tests, college applications, and subjects like English, basic math, and creative writing. Back in undergrad, I was a managing editor and copy editor for The Daily Princetonian, where I got to mentor underclassmen in writing for 4 years.

In my free time, I organize for education unions, work with high schoolers to coach ethics bowl teams, and publish short poems in small literary magazines. I’m looking forward to meeting you and working with you / your student!
