At MIT, I was a teaching fellow for Terrascope (a freshman learning program). I was also involved in the Global Poverty Initiative, rowed bow seat of the First Varsity 8 for MIT's D1 Openweight Rowing Team, and was president of the Women's Independent Living Group for one semester.
I use mathematical modeling to study how plants interact with their environments. Some of my current projects include modeling CAM photosynthesis and understanding how plants adapt to survive in arid and semi-arid ecosystems. In my spare time I enjoy running, rowing with Carnegie Lakers, exploring Princeton, and learning new things! I love teaching math and science and also have a strong interest in writing.
